German tuner McChip has revised its tuning program for the Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG. In its standard configuration, the V8 6.2-liter naturally-aspirated engine produces 571 HP (420 kW) and 650 Nm (479 lb-ft) of torque, but the tuner can increase its output to 706 HP (519 kW) and 793 Nm (585 lb-ft). They do this by installing a custom exhaust system, sports catalytic converters and performing engine software tweaks. The entire power upgrade package will set you back 78,999 EUR.
Aside from the power boost, a hydraulically-controlled DDC or HLS 4-sports chassis made by KW is available for 12,999 EUR. CoverEFX is selling this complete matte grey/red foliation for an extra 5,999 EUR.
Lesser upgrades are also available, while the most powerful version is for export only. McChip says the modifications are made in 5 to 7 working days.
