EDS Motorsport has unveiled a new tuning package for the redesigned Opel Astra (J).

Designed to blow away the competition, the 1.6-liter turbo has been outfitted with a high-performance needle valve (€980), higher-quality connecting rods (€550), larger fuel injectors (€500), and an HG Motorsport turbo manifold (€1,200). Furthermore, the company installs a Garret GT28 turbocharger (€1,000), a custom intercooler (€600), a 100mm air-flow meter (€300), a 7mm downpipe (€800), and a stainless steel sport exhaust system (€800).

Thanks to all these tweaks, the engine produces 360 PS (265 kW / 355 hp) and 480 Nm (354 lb-ft) of torque - an increase of 180 PS (132 kW / 178 hp) and 250 Nm (184 lb-ft).

To help keep things in check, the car has also been equipped with a sport clutch (€1,100), a Quaife locking differential (€900) and a high-performance braking system with 356mm discs being clamped by eight-piston calipers (€2,000).

Last but not least, the Astra rides on 20-inch Schmidt Revolution wheels with Pirelli P.Zero tires (€3,200).
